Continuum

For some, the past is not a place left behind but a presence woven into the everyday — a gesture of collecting, of remembering, of becoming. Clothing is never neutral. Each garment carries the residue of its time, not as nostalgia but as structure. The late 19th-century pieces from the photographer’s personal collection, set against the contemporary, reveal that time does not move in a straight line; it folds, recurs, insists. What we inherit is not an object but a relation: between bodies and histories, between continuity and change, between what is lived and what remains unresolved. In wearing these fragments, we grant them continuity, allowingthem to breathe anew within the present.
